Bleeding Control Kit $115

The number one cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. Serious bleeding is more likely to result from everyday injuries that occur at home, at work, or on the road than from a ghastly incident.
A number of the kit's items (especially, but not only, the tourniquet) require knowledge and training for proper and effective application. We strongly urge you to find and participate in a Stop the Bleed course. For more information visit www.dhs.gov/stopthebleed.
Contact BMFPD, Boulder County Public Health, or local hospital to inquire about training.

Note: This kit is designed to respond to a single emergency bleeding incident. If you use any items in the kit, be sure to replace them so that you will be prepared for the next time you need to stop the bleed.
