On September 19, 2025, Sheriff Curtis Johnson rescinded the Stage 1 fire restrictions that had been in place for western areas of unincorporated Boulder County since August 11, 2025. Residents are reminded that although the fire restrictions have been rescinded, caution should still be used when having a recreational fire.
